For any corporate or special gathering, the team at Café Maxx will be delighted to compose your next exclusive affair. From hot, butler passed hors d'oeuvres, to "first class" multi-course extravaganzas or wine dinners, Darrel & Oliver's Cafe Maxx and its accomplished chefs and service staff will be sure to execute your event with the highest level of excellence.  Every Darrel & Oliver's Cafe Maxx event is a unique event and will be professionally coordinated and customized to accommodate any and all specific needs.

Complete selections of house made, butler passed hors d'oeuvres are available from our cocktail reception menu and will be tailored to match your distinctive menu. As always for affair requests , if a specific beloved dish is favored or loved, we will do everything possible to make it available within a 24 hour notice. Full, open bar and distinct beverage service packages are available as desired from Darrel & Oliver's Café Maxx's beverage menu. Fine wines are “keyed” to match your menu selections in several price ranges. Premium Coffee's and Tea's are always available and all dinners are served with an assortment of warm, freshly baked artesian bread with extra virgin olive oil or sweet cream butter.

Although we will supply menu suggestions that are the most popular among our customers, our kitchen stands ready to fulfill almost any culinary request.  As always, celebrity Chef Oliver Saucy will be more than happy to customize your menu for your next event! Here at Café Maxx, our chefs work in unison with Mother Nature and our menus change often. Many times when booking a function or party and making menu selections in advance, certain elections or ingredients may not be obtainable due to seasonal availability or other market factors. Being flexible and open to “the preparations of the day” will enable our chefs to provide the absolute freshest ingredients at their peak of flavor and availability.

Also, don't forget to save room for “Sweet Endings” from Cafe Maxx's bakeshop. We pride our self on first class quality desserts, always hand crafted. Orders for party platters and birthday cakes are always welcomed.

RENTALS


Various rentals are required for certain events and particular menu items. We primarily use Panache Party Rentals, and are able to order items such as:

• Linens   • China   • Flatware  • Food Service Equipment  • Chafing Dishes
• Tables • Chairs • Bars • Wedding Accessories • Glassware

                                                                       

** Please allow the Director of Catering at Café Maxx to coordinate all your rental needs.  A 10% service charge will be added on to any Panache Party Rental order organized through the Café Maxx.

 

LABOR


As required for all events, our staff at Café Maxx would be privileged to be of service to you and your guests. Labor quantities will be determined by the Director of Catering & Chef Oliver Saucy.

As a party increases in size, as do the labor requirements for us to provide excellent and comprehensive service. Larger parties are case by case basis.

Additional service stations present an extra cost as warranted,
as well as:
Extensive rentals, elaborate set ups and/or complex decorative schemes will also present additional charges as necessary.

Event Manager $40.00/hr.
Server/Bartender $35.00/hr.
Busser/clean-up $25.00/hr.
Chef, Culinary Prep & Clean-up $35.00/hr.
Celebrity Chef Oliver Saucy $500/event

 

TRAVEL AND DELIVERY


A $50 to $200 packing and delivery fee will be added to the final bill. Events with a location outside a 15 mile radius of Café Maxx will incur an additional fuel surcharge

31-85 people 2 bartenders
86-100 people 2 bartenders and 1 bar back
101 to 150 people 4 bartenders and 2 bar backs

How much help will I need when hosting cocktail party?
In general, Parties up to 20 people will require at least 1 Chef and 1 Server

20 to 50 people, 1 chef, 1 server and 1 steward
50 to 75 people, 1 chef, 2 servers and 1 steward
75 to 105 people, 1 chef, 1 cook, 3 servers and 1 steward
105 to 160 people, 1 chef, 2 cooks, 4 servers, 2 stewards
160 to 225, 1 chef, 2 cooks, 5 servers, 2 stewards, 1 dishwasher

How much help will I need when hosting buffets?
In general, Parties up to 15 people will require, at least 1 Chef and 1 Server

15 to 30 people, 1 chef, 1 server and 1 steward
30to 50 people, 1 chef, 2 servers and 1 steward
51to 75 people, 1 chef, 1 cook, 3 servers and 1 steward
76 to 95 people, 1 chef, 2 cooks, 4 servers, 2 stewards
96-135, 1 chef, 2 cooks, 5 servers, 2 stewards, 1 dishwasher

How much help will I need for hosting a sit down plated dinner?
In general, Parties up to 12 people will require, at least 1 Chef and 1 Server

12 to 25 people, 1 chef, 2 servers and 1 steward
26to 35 people, 1 chef, 1 cook, 3 servers and 1 steward
36 to 55 people, 1 chef, 2 cook, 4-5 servers, 1 steward and 1 dishwasher
56 to 85 people, 1 chef, 3 cooks, 5-6 servers, 2 stewards and 1 dishwasher
